Round 10 Guidelines
According to the Resolution nº 10 of CNPE (Conselho Nacional de Política Energética), published on the 18th of September 2008, ANP announces the opening of Brasil Round 10, in which 130 blocks, distributed among eight sectors will be offered for exploratory purposes.
All blocks offered in this round are located onshore.
The following basins are included: Amazonas, Parecis, Potiguar, Recôncavo, Sergipe-Alagoas, São Francisco and Paraná.
From the original 162 exploratory blocks that would represent the acreage put on offer, 32 blocks pertaining to Araripe, Pernambuco-Paraíba and Paraná basins were withdrawn due to technical and environmental reasons.
