La ANH recibe ofertas por 50 bloques para exploración en el Proceso
‘Mini Ronda 2008’, con inversiones adicionales de hasta 40.2 millones
de dólares
• Continúa el interés por la exploración de hidrocarburos en Colombia
• Las empresas firmarán contratos de Exploración y Producción (E&P)
• Se presentaron ofertas con una inversión cercana a los US$346.000.000
La Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos –ANH‐ ofreció 102 bloques en las áreas de Llanos
Orientales, Valle Medio del Magdalena – Catatumbo, Valle Superior del Magdalena –
Putumayo, Cordillera Oriental y recibió ofertas por 50, culminando el proceso
denominado ‘Mini Ronda 2008’ iniciado en junio del presente año. Las empresas
adjudicatarias firmarán Contratos de Exploración y Producción en los próximos meses.
Las empresas que resultaron primeras en el orden de elegibilidad de los 50 bloques son,
Operaciones Petroleras Andinas S.A., Ecopetrol S.A., Petromont S.A., Petroandina
Resources Inc., Kinetex Sucursal Colombia, Golden Oil Corp., Geokinetics International
Inc., Omega Energy Colombia, Cepsa Colombia S.A., BD Production Co Inc., Petrominerales
Colombia Ltd., NCT Energy Group C.A Colombia, TC Oil & Services S.A., Thorneloe Energy
Colombia, Winchester Oil and Gas S.A., Montecz S.A., Lewis Energy Colombia Inc.,
Petrotesting Colombia S.A., Consorcio Energía Colombia S.A. Cenercol S.A., Petróleos
Colombianos Limited, Conequipos Ing. Ltda, Petropuli Ltda, Opica BLC S.A., Morichal
Petróleo y Gas Ca., Inepetrol, Technical Integrated Services Inc., Hocol S.A., Emerald
Energy Colombia, representan intereses de países como Colombia, Francia, Argentina,
Canadá, Venezuela, entre otros.
Los valores de inversión adicional ofrecidos por las empresas para la primera fase se
encuentran entre el 100.000 y 40.200.000 dólares.
En la ceremonia de recepción y apertura de ofertas que se llevó a cabo el jueves 4 de
diciembre en Bogotá, las empresas previamente habilitadas para participar en el proceso
presentaron 103 ofertas en total. El evaluador externo del proceso, el Consorsio Risco‐
Cusa deberá verificar la documentación entregada por las compañías, así como la

aplicación de los criterios para determinar el orden de elegibilidad de cada uno de los
bloques para que, posteriormente el Consejo Directivo de la ANH proceda a la
correspondiente adjudicación y autorización para suscribir los contratos.
Los contratos de Exploración y Producción (E&P) que se firmarán con las empresas
adjudicatarias son contratos que tienen por objeto otorgar el derecho a exploración del
área contratada y a producir los Hidrocarburos de propiedad del Estado que se descubran
dentro de dicha área, en los términos de este contrato.

Highest bidders include: Colombia's state oil company Ecopetrol (NYSE: EC); Petroleras Andinas; Petromont; Petroandina Resources; Kinetex; Golden Oil; Geokinetics; Omega Energy; Cepsa; BD Production; Calgary-based Petrominerales (TSX: PMG); NCT Energy; TC Oil & Services; Thorneloe Energy; Winchester Oil and Gas; Montecz; Lewis Energy; Petrotesting; Consorcio Energía Colombia; Cenercol; Petróleos Colombianos; Conequipos; Petropuli; Opica BLC; Morichal Petróleo y Gas; Inepetrol; Technical Integrated Services; Hocol; and Emerald Energy.
