Artumas Group Inc., (OSE:AGI, “Artumas”). Mr. John Bentley, Chairman of the Board, announces
the resignation of Mr. Richard J.C. Grant, as a Director, member of the Board Governance and
Nomination Committee, and Corporate Secretary of Artumas Group Inc. Mr. Stephen Mason,
President and CEO of Artumas said, “On behalf of the Artumas Board of Directors, we wish to thank
Mr. Grant for his many years of guidance, dedication and faithful service to the Board.”
Mr. Grant has been a Director of the Company since 2003 and will continue to provide Artumas with
strategic legal counsel, in his position as a senior partner with the Canadian national law firm, Gowling
Lafleur Henderson LLP.
The Board has elected Mr. Cameron Barton, Chief Financial Officer of Artumas Group Inc. to fill the
vacancy resulting from the resignation of Mr. Grant, effective immediately. Mr. Barton, CFO since
February 2007, has over 29 years of senior level finance and accounting experience in the energy
industry with a career focus on the power sector. He has held senior executive and director positions
in financial and business development capacities for numerous U.K., New Zealand and Canadian
based multi-national corporations and provided consulting advice on power policy decisions for
provincial and national governments.
The AGI Board of Directors is comprised of seven board members, five of which are independent of
executive management.
